Welcome to episode 4 of the Puri travel series. Today we are travelling from Puri to Bhubneshwar for Bhubneshwar city sight seeing. We started early from Puri and made our first stop at Sakhi Gopal temple. After that we went to Dhauli and visited the Peace Pagoda or commonly known as Shanti Stupa. Next we headed towards Lingraj temple and had darshan and offered our prayers. After lunch we headed to visit the Udaigiri & Khandagiri caves. These Ashokan period caves have amazing carvings and show how Buddhism spread and how monks used to live and meditate in these caves. Later we visted the Odisha State Tribal Museum and the Natural History Museum. It had started to rain so we headed back to Puri and reached during the night.
