Inside a Collapsing Nevada Mine — Gold, Silver, and Copper

In Mineral County, Nevada, an abandoned mine for gold, silver, and copper was first discovered in 1904. It was intermittently worked until the late 1970s, during which it experienced a rich history.

In this exploration from my perspective, I venture deep into the tunnels of the mine, reaching the area where it is collapsing. To get to the end, I had to crawl beneath rotting beams and unstable rocks. One wrong move could have caused the entire passage to collapse.

This offers a rare glimpse into the perilous world of abandoned mines—a blend of history, exploration, and danger.
