The light of God is infinite and shines everywhere, so spiritual darkness isn’t real darkness - darkness doesn’t have an substance of its own, darkness is only light that is being blocked. So when we can’t see or feel God, it is only because there is something blocking it. God is everywhere all around us, and we have a holy soul inside that is a piece of God, so if we can’t feel God and our soul, it is because something is spiritual blocking God’s light, and the light of our soul. We need to repent and do teshuva, and soul search and look deep inside, and fix the things that are blocking the light of Hashem, and the light of our soul. The way to find your soul is to do hitbodedut, personal secluded prayer and meditation, to uncover our own unique mission in this world, and no Rabbi, no leader, no holy book, can tell us exactly who we are, that is something that we can only find deep within ourselves. And with enough soul searching, commitment to find the truth, determination, and humility, we will for sure find the answer, the meaning of our live, the purpose for our existence, and our purpose and mission in this world.
