victoria & lord melbourne | how can I carry on?

Well, it had to be me. Due to hurricane Matthew coming, I got extra 2 days off and had a chance to watch Victoria. Guess what? I totally and completely fell in love with a doomed OTP. Again. It seems like every single show I watch I like couples that are destined to break up. And all my favorite characters tend to die or disappear from the series.
Now, I will apologize to those of you who like Albert, but I need to share my thoughts with someone. I understand it's history, and I understand that historically Albert was a very nice young man, but I strongly dislike prince as a character on this show. Not only because I like lord M. I literally want to skip moments with Albert, who is always unhappy with something (Victoria, in most of the cases). He thinks he's a huge aesthete, though, in reality, he's just being rude. As for me, he also doesn't even look like a man - just a typical sweet boy. An opposite of my character type. I watched the show through episode 6 and cannot force myself to continue. I love Jenna, I love Victoria and I love the idea, but I just don't feel engaged without lord Melbourne anymore. I can't even watch all these Victoria & Albert moments - it seems so boring. Not sure I will continue.
LOVED IT till episode 6, though. It's perfect. And the story of Victoria and her lord M is so beautiful and heartbreaking.
This is just my opinion, and I respectfully welcome all the others.
