Rainy Day London Walk in the City & Holborn (4K)

A London walking tour in the rain starting at Moorgate in the City of London. The video is a quest through the rain soaked streets of London. My mission was to buy some pocket notebooks and then meet my wife to watch Hearts of Darkness at Curzon Bloomsbury.
The rainy walk headed across London Wall and down Coleman Street then diverted into Mason's Court which brought me to Basinghall Street. I went into Guildhall Yard where The Cart Marking Ceremony was taking place for the Worshipful Company of Carmen, who are a 500 year old City livery company. There was a display of fantastic vintage buses.
The rain had become intense and I needed some shelter to dry off a little. The walk takes us along Cheapside, past the birthplace of Thomas a Becket and eventually I stopped for coffee near St. Paul's Cathedral. After getting the tube to Holborn the walk resumes in the London rain along Southampton Row, Old Gloucester Street, Queen Square, Guilford Street and finishes at The Brunswick Centre.
