In what you might well consider a very British angle on the subject, we consider the quarters of Captain James Kirk. He was the captain, an important man, so why was his cabin so small?
In this video, we ponder over the significance of magnificence (told you it was a British angle), and also offer a suggestion for the best location for suitable captain's accommodation, using the idea of 'the great cabin'.
