We experience THE BEST PARTY AT SEA on ARVIA - DAY 9 VLOG

Day 9 was our fourth sea day onboard P&O's newest ship Arvia, it was also New Years Eve and we had high hopes for the evening. During the day we made the most of the beautiful weather. Arvia is also know as the Sunshine Ship and Day 9 gave us the opportunity to experience what is on offer. New Years Eve was a celebration night and we had the same reservation as Christmas Day. Our Glasshouse issues continue with an escalation at reception regarding out P&O Ultimate Drinks Package. The evening was full of fun and there was an incredible atmosphere onboard the ship.

We were on the maiden voyage of P&O's newest ship, Arvia, in December 2022 out of Ocean Terminal in Southampton! We were onboard for 14 nights. The cruise visited a number of ports in Portugal and Spain over Christmas and New Years. This is the first time we have experienced a Christmas and New Year cruise, and also, this was our first P&O cruise. Our aim is to give you a fair and balanced insight of this maiden voyage looking at the positives, as well as, the negatives that we faced during our time onboard.

We are Tom and Dom and we experienced our first cruise on the MSC Virtuosa during her UK staycation cruises in 2021. We are relatively new to cruising, however we can now say we are officially hooked.

Our mission is provide a fair and balanced review of our travels. We look at the types of food that is available onboard, from main dining rooms, room service, buffets and pool side snacks. We include menus for each of cruises so that we can share the selection of drinks and meals that are available. Entertainment onboard a cruise ship is important to us and we enjoy theatre production shows, live music, quizzes and game shows. We love to explore different ports and destinations and enjoy sharing tips and tricks so that you can make the most of each port. We often explore ports independently but also book excursions that are interesting to us.

We have created a list of our cruise essentials. These are items we take with us when we travel and we hope they may be useful to you. We have also added a Wine list which contains some of the wines we have tried whilst cruising.
