Michael Adams was once the NBA's all-time leader in 3-pointers. Decades before Steph Curry, Adams was launching threes at a rate that had never been seen before. Joining the NBA in the mid-80s, the 5'10" Adams had trouble latching onto an NBA team, but a trade to the Denver Nuggets in 1987 was the opportunity he needed. Adams would team with Alex English and Fat Lever, as he used his speed and one-handed push shot to turn into one of the NBA's best scorers from the late 80s to the early 90s, setting a variety of 3-point records, including becoming the all-time leader as a member of the Washington Bullets. Michael Adams may not have been the best guard, but he was one of the most exciting, and with the way he shot threes, he was a glimpse into the future.
