Jalpesh Temple is located in Maynaguri Town, within the Jalpaiguri District of West Bengal. This sacred temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.It was originally built in 1524 by Sri Bisu Singh, the father of Maharaja Narayan, the king of Coochbehar. The temple holds strong religious values and attracts many visitors.Each year, thousands of devotees visit Jalpesh Temple, especially during July-August and again in February-March.These months mark the time when people gather to worship Lord Shiva. A special fair, called Shravan Mela, takes place during this period.Devotees arrive from nearby regions and other parts of West Bengal.
