Back To Back Disney Cruise Vlog! Disney Dream ~ Embarkation Day!

When doing a back to back Disney Cruise with The Disney Cruise Line or any of the Disney ships, one is sure to encounter some questions. Questions of how does it work? Where do I go? Can I leave my stuff in my state room? Well today I give to you the Disney Cruise Vlog where we conduct our back to back day. Today we disembark the first cruise and start our embarkation process on the second!
We start off the day by going to Animators Palate for a light breakfast where I order the Route 66 and a couple of sides!
After breakfast it was time to say goodbye to Mom, Dad and Kyle. It was a great cruise and we had a lot of fun!
After saying goodbye to them, I head over to Lounge 687 where I wait instructions on how the back to back process for Disney Cruisers should go. We were escorted off the ship through security. You must make sure you have all your travel documents if you want to do this to ensure your passage back onto the ship. The cast members made this process very simple by explaining to us in detail and very thoroughly as to what would happen. Once we get off the Disney Dream, I was able to meet up with Emily and we head over to complete our COVID-19 tests. Just like before we had to wait about 30 to 45 minutes for test results to get in. Once The COVID-19 tests were complete, we were able to head back through security and onto the Disney Dream. Watching Emily‘s face light up with excitement when she saw all the lights in the Lobby/Atrium and all the characters was one of my favorite parts of the day.
After completing the mandatory Muster-drill and having some delicious lunch at Cabanas, we decided to do a little exploring of the Disney Dream. We ventured around Goofy‘s sports and miniature golf area and then head down to deck five to tour the kids clubs.
The Oceaneers Lab was really fun. This is where the kids can do all kinds of crafts and have a lot of hands-on fun.
After touring the ocean ears lab, we head over and tour the Oceaneers Club. This is where the kids can have a lot more fun with a few different rooms. There’s a Disney infinity room, A Pixie Hollow room, an entire room dedicated to Star Wars where you can even fly the Millennium Falcon! And of course you can’t forget Andy’s room! There’s even a huge dance floor in the center where you know the kids are going have tons of fun!
After touring deck five aboard the Disney dream, we then make our way up to the top deck to watch our ship (the Disney Dream) sail away from Port Canaveral. Sailing away on any Disney Cruise has to be my favorite part of any Disney sailing! I love watching the waves go by and waving to the people on land as we head out to the ocean. Being on open seas is a very calming and relaxing feeling for me.
Dinner at Royal Palace was another hit! This time I was able to order the lamb. But, what stood out to me the most was the strawberry shortcake sundae!
After dinner we head over and watch Beauty and the Beast Broadway show! It was a really good one. But we are not allowed to bring cameras in to record.
