Fixing an ECHO AudioFire 4 External Soundcard with one channel faulty - ticking!

This is the second of these external sound cards (units) I have repaired with the same fault. One channel is Ticking, the levels bounce up and down rapidly with increasing speed.
The fault is the pre-amp chip which has been overloaded and dies internally so needs replacing.
