For reasons I can't explain, the Rugby Junction siding was popular this weekend, which is pretty rare. After a break from trains midday, I ventured out this Sunday afternoon to catch a handful of trains passing each other at North Rugby Junction. Included in the catches is a very unique power mover, a lot of borrowed power, and some interesting freight including a backhoe and depressed flatcar. Stay-tuned to the end when northbound Norfolk Southern oil train billows black smoke as it comes-up to speed "coming out of the whole."
