See the making of this amazing Charlie Brown Automata and the hand operation of five characters from the Charlie Brown Christmas special. There is also a couple of surprise character gags thrown in just for fun! This hand cranked kinetic sculpture took more than 70 hours to design and fabricate and produced a whimsical depiction of the dance scene from that Peanuts character Christmas special which is a family favorite. We feature the final sculpture first in action against a few holiday backgrounds, followed by a detailed video segment on the entire construction of the cartoon character automata. We hope you enjoy this project as much as I did creating these characters.
