It started out as the Hale Nani. The hotel’s other names were Sheraton Seven Seas, Ponderosa of Kaua‘i, Hale Nani again, then finally Po'ipu Village Resort. Today, a new resort sits upon the point. It’s called Whaler’s Cove.
