ABANDONED NAVAL AIR BASE UNION POINT WEYMOUTH (DRONE)

Located in Weymouth MA, Union Point is the home of a semi-failed redevelopment project by LStar Ventures. In 2015, the former 1,500 acre naval base was ripe for a new sustainable master planned community. By early 2019, the site remains mostly undeveloped with several lenders calling on loans and selling off plots at auction. With the vast open space, Union Point has hosted two Hollywood movie sets including Mark Walburg's Patriots day and Ghostbusters. The two movie sets at Union Point are still standing, but in poor condition.
