On 3rd January, 2019 I filed my nomination papers for the upcoming North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council elections to be held in Dima Hasao district of Assam. I will be contesting from 1-Haflong constituency which is the largest constituency of the district with more than 18,000 voters. I am contesting as a Congress party candidate. Polling date is 19th January, 2019. In the coming days we will be campaigning all over Haflong and sharing our vision for Haflong and for a change in our political system. We are grateful for all the support we have been receiving in this journey and we are looking forward to connecting with more likeminded people who want to bring a positive change to our democracy. Bharat mata ki jai!
