Today, Denise (pipi) came to join me for the day 🤍
She ordered Manam (short for malinamnam — meaning super delicious), and living up to its name, the food really was that good. Manam!!
It was also my first time trying a Filipino dish — sinigang ng watermelon.
Yes… you saw that right. Watermelon in soup! 🍉🍲
We ended the day with sinigang again — this time with salmon belly, along with a plate of fresh shrimps Dad picked up from the seafood market.
Feeling very thankful for a simple, cozy day spent together with pipi 🤍
