A derecho swept across much of central KS on May 19th, 2024 resulting in winds exceeding 80MPH in numerous locations, and even topping 100MPH in Salina. I documented the intense storm's arrival in Hutchinson, KS where winds topped 86MPH at a nearby airfield.
