As leaders in education, we know how much you care about the health and well-being of young people, and the disconcerting trend of vaping substances such as nicotine and cannabis/THC. Access to medical marijuana, illicit substances, and addiction to nicotine are presenting ever-changing challenges to youth, their families, and school personnel.
This workshop provides updates about current and potential trends, and explores opportunities for brief interventions, effective alternatives to suspension, and other tools that educators can use to best support young people.
This workshop was funded by the Montgomery County Office of Drug & Alcohol.
