LEONI's Mérida 2 plant organised a family get-together on the city's landmark Paseo Montejo. The ‘Biciruta’ (cycle route) attracted more than 80 employees who, together with their families and friends, enjoyed a morning of gifts, music and fun on wheels from the early hours onwards. The route was 1.8 kilometres long, participants could take part with their own bikes or rent the necessary equipment on site, along the route there were drinking points and various sports and leisure activities in coordination with the Mérida City Council. The aim of this activity was to create a recreational space where our employees could work together in a healthy way to strengthen integration and a sense of community.
