Episode 3/4: Bidirectional interface with the BD Kiestra lab automation system and screen synchronization.

Discover the testimony of the CHU Grenoble Alpes, a pioneering site, one of the first establishments in France, to have modernized and automated its microbiology laboratory using a BD Kiestra lab automation system, combined with TECHNIDATA's paperless microbiology.

Much more than a simple interface between TECHNIDATA's LIS and the BD Kiestra lab automation system, the two systems are integrated using bi-directional synchronization of the screens, considerably facilitating the work of the laboratory teams.

Microbiologists can now, during biological validation on TECHNIDATA's LIS, easily access the digital image of the agar (stored on the BD Kiestra lab automation system) for a digital reading of the media or request further examination. Conversely, it is possible from the lab automation system to access the request file, managed by the LIS, to consult additional results, such as those of the direct examination or cytology.

Découvrez le témoignage du CHU Grenoble Alpes, un site précurseur, parmi les tous premiers établissements en France, à avoir modernisé et automatisé son laboratoire de microbiologie à l’aide d’une chaine robotisée BD Kiestra, associée à la microbiologie sans papier de TECHNIDATA.

Bien plus qu’une simple interface entre le SIL de TECHNIDATA et la chaine BD Kiestra, les équipes ont oeuvré pour intégrer les deux systèmes : la synchronisation bi-directionnelle des écrans entre la chaine robotisée et le SIL facilite considérablement le travail des équipes du laboratoire.

Les microbiologistes peuvent désormais, lors de la validation biologique sur le SIL de TECHNIDATA, accéder facilement à l’image numérisée de la gélose (stockée au niveau de la chaine BD Kiestra) pour une lecture digitale des médias ou demander un examen complémentaire. A l’inverse, il est possible depuis la chaine robotisée d’accéder au dossier de la demande, géré par le SIL, pour consulter des résultats complémentaires, comme ceux de l’examen direct ou de cytologie.
