50: Revelation 19: The Second Coming of Jesus Christ | World News & Prophecy

Revelation 19 reveals the most anticipated moment in all prophecy—the triumphant return of Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Witness heaven’s rejoicing, the marriage of the Lamb, and Christ’s victory over the beast and false prophet as He establishes His righteous rule on earth.

In Revelation 19 we reach the dramatic climax: the literal Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In this session of the World News and Prophecy class, we talk about the hallelujah chorus in heaven, the marriage of the Lamb, and the bride’s fine linen—symbolic of the saints’ righteous acts. Christ rides a white horse, “Faithful and True,” to judge in righteousness, defeat the beast and false prophet, and establish His kingdom. We tie in Zechariah 14, 1 Thessalonians 4, and 1 Corinthians 15 to show the resurrection, transformation, and gathering of the saints. Finally, we preview Revelation 20, where Satan is bound for a thousand years and the stage is set for the millennial reign.
