Lemon Bergamot Ribbon Twirl Ea-Scene Soap Making

Here is another abstract nature "easy scene" poured from pitchers into a mold. I wanted two layers-one for the sky and one for the land. But I wanted to pour the soap in one go with one batch. So I used the amount of mixing the soap as a means of control. I started by mixing the soap just a little (5 sec) so that I would have lots of time to mix my colors and prepare to work. Then, after all the colors were mixed and ready to go, I added the lemon bergamot essential oils to the sky layer (which was poured first) and mixed it more, until it was a little thick. I did this so that the sky layer would be mostly set for when I poured the next layer on. This next layer was not mixed any more, but consisted of sunset colors added alternately in rings to a pouring pitcher. The colored rings were then poured into the center of a rotating mold to make a pretty pattern.

Soap Ingredients:
1. 12 oz Organic Coconut Oil
2. 12 oz Olive Oil
3. 10.1 oz Refined Shea butter
4. 9.1 oz Filtered water
5. 4.8 oz of Food Grade NaOH

Fragrance:
1. 1.0 oz organic lemon essential oil
2. 1.0 oz bergamot (bergapeen free) essential oil
3. 0.2 oz organic jojoba oil
4. 2 TBS White

Colors:
1. 4.5 oz of soap added to Sahara + Gold Enviroglitter dissolved in olive oil
2. 2.3 oz of soap added to Activated Charcoal dissolved in olive oil
3. 4.5 oz of soap added to Orange Vibrance dissolved in olive oil
4. 4.5 oz of soap for gray (made by adding a little black and white)
5. 7.45 oz of soap added to 1 TBS Winter White
