In recognition of Veterans Day, we were given a special presentation highlighting the Westlake High School Vietnam Project, an initiative launched in the early 2000s that required local students to research and preserve the stories of Vietnam soldiers memorialized on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Hear from legendary WHS educators, Valerie Taylor and Becky Stucky, about how the project was envisioned and executed for years. The Vietnam Project offers a moving look at how younger generations keep history alive while honoring those who answered the call to serve.
