Junior Eurovision 2023: After Show - My Top 16 (with comments)

NOTE: I've marked this video as For Kids, meaning that comments are turned off. I have a community post where you can leave your thoughts if you want. Also, my comments mostly focus on the staging and production because 1) that's what I do best and 2) I, an adult, am not about to criticize literal children.

Overall, this was a pretty good contest with solid performances and a very likeable set of artists, although as a whole I don't think it was on the same level as JESC 2022. That said, the production side of things was pretty weak. The sound mixing was consistently bad and there were technical issues throughout, such the LED screen glitching out in Portugal's performance, the pyro not working properly in the Netherlands' performance, and the pyro almost hitting one of the dancers in Poland's performance...this was on top of the not-very-good hosts that could barely speak English and dragged the winner reveal out for WAAAY too long (to the point where it almost felt mean), and then a green room correspondent that somehow mixed up Georgia and Ireland during the opening ceremony. Simply put, while the technical side of things wasn't an Italy 2022-level disaster, I don't particularly want to see France host a Eurovision event again anytime soon lol.
