Bolton Steam Museum 2022

In this video we go Out & About and visit the Bolton Steam Museum on one of their dedicated steaming days. Voluntary run by members of the Northern Mill Engine Society, it houses the largest selection of working mill steam engines in the UK.

The Northern Mill Engine Society started in 1966 and for the last 20 years have developed the current museum to a fantastic place to visit full of history of Northern Englands Powerhouse.

The volunteers at the Bolton Steam Museum are the most approachable and knowledgeable people we have ever come across, making it our number 1 place to visit in the Northwest.
