'Ayla' Embellished Floating Bloom

Today I'm working on a 13" (33cm) round MDF placemat

I am also showing the embellishing process in this video.

A couple of years ago our Australian bloom recipe paint was discontinued by the manufacturer, Shelee had to endlessly trial alternatives until she found one that worked. I had some of the original in stock so haven't needed to try it until now.
We now use 50:50 Taubmans Waterbased Enamel in Neutral Semi-Gloss and Taubmans Easy Coat in Neutral Semi-Gloss. We only need to add a little Jo Sonja as needed as it's a tad thinner than the old recipe. When mixing pigments only add just enough Jo Sonja to wet the dried pigment, don't drown it!
You can add a teaspoon sized blob of Triart Gloss Gel Medium (or other brand) after wetting the TLP, before adding your pouring medium.

Pillow: British Paints low sheen house paint in White.
Colours:
TLP Velvet
TLP Unicorn
Triart Interference Turquoise
Triart Phthalo Blue (red shade) with a dash of Triart Paynes Grey (both liquid variety) for my faux pillow

TLP pigments, Boomgel Stain, Tri-Art Acrylics, Amsterdam Acrylics, palette knives, silicone stir sticks and silicone pour mats can be purchased from https://fluid-art.co/
My pigments and tube paints are mixed with untinted (neutral) gloss house paint (water based) and Jo Sonja gloss varnish. In some countries you may need 'Deep Base' you're looking for one without any (or a very small amount) of titanium white, or it will make your colours pastel.

Atelier Cobalt Teal mixed with Atelier Phthalo Turquoise

Cell Activator:
Equal parts of Atelier and Pebeo Titanium White
This was mixed ONLY with Australian Floetrol (approx 1.5 parts of Floetrol to 1 part of acrylic paint)

Embellishing:
Artistro Acrylic Pen in Silver (bought from Amazon in a pack of 12 metallic colours)

My lazy susan is glass and 20'' which was purchased from Coles supermarket, they can also be sourced from variety/dollar stores and on Amazon. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too. I have a 24'' (60cm) wood round placed on top of my lazy susan.

I have two hairdryers, I prefer ones that have a proper cool setting.
