A trainspotting video of various trains served by EMD G16 diesel locomotives of the Serbian railways (Železnice Srbije), captured near Pirot in the southeastern part of the country, on the railway line towards Bulgaria.
EMD G16 is a diesel locomotive built by General Motors in the US and under licence by Clyde Engineering in Australia and MACOSA in Spain. Those type of locomotives can be met in many countries through the world. They were the most common diesel locomotives in the former Yugoslavia. After the breakup in 1991, the locomotives were passed on to successor states Serbia, Croatia, Bosna and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Slovenia and Kosovo. These locomotives are nicknamed "Kenedi" after the US President John F. Kennedy.
