I wanted to see the difference so I took both my cameras out and shot this short video.
The color on the 4 seems a little "smoother", less contrasty and more natural, but just barely. The 4 also seems to pick up more detail in dark areas. I know at night the Hero 4 black is GREAT, I haven't ever really tested the 3+Black in the dark.
