Hiking The Table Mountain Peak Cluster, Wrightwood, CA.

Surrounding Table Mountain Campground are three peaks. Two of them are actually lower than the campground and face out to the desert to the north. The other is Table Mountain, which sits higher than the campground. From the North Resort Parking lot for Mountain High Ski Resort (where parking doesn't require any additional fee), I cut across the campground to reach the two lower peaks. Both are accessible on rarely visited forest roads. It is amazing how remote the area is since it butts up right against the campground. Last is Table Mountain, which is easily accessible from the wide parking lot. I could easily pad my totals by doing each individually, but it simply makes better sense to do them all as a group in a single hike.
