Harry Potter Birthday Cake | Chocolate Fudge Cake Recipe | My Harry Potter Kitchen (Ep. 16)

Happy Birthday Harry! This week we're celebrating Harry's birthday by recreating the cake Hagrid gave to him in the Philosopher's Stone! This large sticky chocolate fudge cake is filled with a bright pink buttercream icing and finished with vibrant green lettering!

Ingredients:
For the sponge:
400g golden caster sugar
120g coca powder
220g plain flour
5 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
225ml buttermilk
175ml vegetable oil
225ml milk
2 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla

For the buttercream icing:
6oz (170g) butter
12oz (340g) icing sugar
1 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
pink and green food colouring
