新神鵰俠侶的故事是從楊過幼年所居住的破窯開始，楊過自幼沒有父親，母親穆念慈也在他十一歲那年染病身亡。穆念慈臨死之時，說他父親死在嘉興鐵槍廟裏，要他將她遺體火化了，去葬在嘉興鐵槍廟外。楊過遵奉母親遺命辦理，從此流落嘉興，住在這破窯之中，偷雞摸狗的混日子。原本還算是平靜的日子，卻因為李莫愁等一行人的來到，開始有了巨大的變化，自此展開了楊過戲劇性的一生。

A história dos novos Heróis Condor começa com o forno quebrado onde Yang Guo viveu quando jovem.
