How to sew sweatshirt with placket (my new sewing pattern!)

I created this sweatshirt to be an everyday staple in my closet. I added a front placket so it’s easy to slip on without messing up hair or makeup, and included side slits with snaps to give more ease around the hips and waist. The cuffs have thumbholes for one of those windy, colder days when I want a bit of extra coziness. I also incorporated subtle sewing techniques, like reinforced shoulders and sleeve caps, to make sure this sweatshirt is durable and easy to care for. FABRIC INFO:
For the main fabric (front, back and sleeves) choose medium to heavy weight knit fabrics. Recommended fabrics: French Terry, sweatshirt fleece, Teddy fabric.
For cuff, front placket and side slit use RIB knit fabric.
You'll also need fusible interfacing and 10 snaps.

The sweatshirt in this video is made using 450gsm 100% cotton French Terry and matching color 400gsm 95% cotton/5% elastane RIB knit fabric. For snaps, I used Prym Anorak snaps, size 12mm.
