Update 2021-06-11:
Not working in Live 11, however, there is a fix in the comments. I am yet to do this myself and update the script on GitHub as I still haven't paid for the Live 11 upgrade.

Overhauled the README on GitHub and added an easier way to modify the track/scene selection box. Also, added a few more track controls.
A simple way to create custom MIDI Remote Scripts for Ableton Live*
This tutorial was made on a macOS, but works the same on Windows machines. The MIDI Remote Scripts folder is located in "\ProgramData\Ableton\Live x.x\Resources\MIDI Remote Scripts\".

Tested and working in all versions of Live 10. Working on versions 9.2 and above. Not yet tested on pre-9.6 versions of Live Suite and not tested at all yet on Lite, Intro or Standard but should still work the same.
