The Crosscut takes the body shape from the Charger and Double Agent models and adds the terrific Railhammer Cleancut pickups and Wilkinson trem.
There's a lot of crystal-clear magic that can happen when low-wound pickups hit a cranked amp, but that trait can be problematic in hi-gain scenarios where more output is important to cut through the mix. These pickups appear to satisfy both preferences without touching the volume control. Once again, the bass contour control can completely change the mood from delicate sparkle to summoning the beast.
