Lord Coe has been backed as the man to carry on leading world athletics, and tackle doping. That's despite damning revelations about corruption and cover-ups within the organisation he's in charge of. A report released today, says "corruption was embedded" within the IAAF - and that it "cannot be blamed on a small number of miscreants". It says the organisation's leadership council - of which Lord Coe is a member - "could not have been unaware of the extent of the doping". Well Lord Coe denies being part of any wrongdoing - and today the report's author says he can't think of a better man to sort it out. Here's Simon Vigar.
