What happens before it swells up is your skin will actually dry out and it looks like it's working really well and then your skin just swells up cuz it's so dried out and burnt from the oil.
This is a lesson that I learned and I wanted to pass it on to you and hopefully prevent you from damaging your skin. It did heal, as you can see, the skin tag has come off.
This is just the base and it's actually getting smaller. I've been using CeraVe and I still do use the tea tree oil to maintain these skin tags.
So if you're planning on trying to remove your skin tags, just put it on a q Q-tip and then apply with the Q-tip, and don't put the oil directly on your skin.
