A couple of short laps at Juanita Bay today. Too windy to paddle upwind for very long. Great practice for direction control upwind when the boat speed occasionally drops well below 1 mph plus, I'm using a weedless surf rudder that's not doing me any favors. Being in conditions that make me occasionally lose control are the best for balance practice. That sailboat is getting beat up with the last few windstorms. The anchor on that mooring buoy isn't big enough for the winter storms and has been migrating east.
