Surviving Voices: HIV Lifetime & Long-Term Survivors

Now in its 10th year and chapter, the National AIDS Memorial’s award-winning AIDS oral history and film series “Surviving Voices” honors HIV Lifetime and Long-Term Survivors - those who acquired HIV at birth or as young children and those who acquired the virus before the availability of effective treatment in the mid-1990s.

In commemoration of the National HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day, the National AIDS Memorial, in partnership with the San Francisco Queer Film Festival, premiered "Surviving Voices: HIV Lifetime & Long-Term Survivors.
