We visited Talakadu on weekend where enjoyed coracle ride and spent some time with family. Lots of food options are here, toy’s shops, horse riding and icecream stall.
Coracle tariff: We paid 400/- for 4 peoples including kids for 15 minutes ride. Tariff may depend on demand like weekend time and our bargaining skills.
Entry fee: Rs. 30/-
Parking fee: Null
Food options: There are many shops where South Indian veg and non-veg foods are available with decent cost. Some foods are tasty and some are average.
Location: It is situated in Talakadu and well connected with Mysuru and Bangalore through the national highway.
NH-948 connects to Bangalore via kanakpura, Malavali. Road condition is fine and we have one toll only.
We can also take mysuru express way which connects via Maddur but it has high tolls.
Places to visit: There are many temples nearby and two waterfalls: Shivansamudra, Gaganchukki .
