These American-made pencils were initially branded as "Palomino Golden Bear" pencils but the package I purchased recently does not have the Palomino name anywhere, nor does the pencil itself. These pencils are from Pencils.com and are made by the Musgrave Pencil Co. in Shelbyville, Tennessee. The Golden Bear is offered in two color styles: orange with blue eraser or blue with orange eraser. I chose the orange model and like its blue sibling, it has a gold imprint. They are only available with a #2/HB core. These are cedar pencils and hexagonal in shape.
