ஐந்தாம் பாசுரம். திருவுலகளந்தருளின எம்பெருமானை இங்கே நான் காண வரும்படி கூவுவாயாக என்கிறாள்.

Fifth pAsuram. She is asking the cuckoo whether he would call such that the emperumAn who
mercifully measured the worlds would come here so that she could see him.

மெதுவாக நடந்து வரும் அன்னங்கள் எங்கும் பரவி விளையாடுவதற்கு இருப்பிடமான ஸ்ரீவில்லிபுத்தூரில் எழுந்தருளியிருக்கும் எம்பெருமானுடைய பொன்
போன்ற அழகிய திருவடிகளைக் காண வேண்டும் என்னும் ஆசையினாலே ஒன்றுக்கொன்று போட்டியிடும் என்னுடைய கெண்டை மீன் போன்ற கண்கள் உறங்க
மறுக்கின்றன. குயிலே! திருவுலகளந்தருளின எம்பெருமான் இங்கே வரும்படி நீ கூவு. நீ அப்படிச் செய்தால் நான் இனிய சோற்றையும் பாலமுதையும் ஊட்டி
வளர்த்துள்ள அழகிய கிளியை உன்னோடே நட்புறவு கொள்ள வைப்பேன்.
