20" BLACKSTONE GRIDDLE CAMPING WHILE COOKING SHORT RIBS / BLACKSTONE CAMP GRIDDLE REVIEW

This video we get our hands on the new 20” Blackstone adventure camp griddle that is only available at Walmart. We were lucky enough to snag the last one on the shelf and it this cook we test it out with some of the hard to cook beef short ribs.
We start off by unboxing this griddle , which is lighter than its 22” 2 burner counterpart. We did off the bat love the easy lid it has and also the way in can effectively block grease from getting on your camp trailer. One of the things we didn’t like was the location of keeping the regulator and how hard it was to put the griddle back on the base. Once we got that figured out it was time to cook.

We started with laying down that butter, as you can't use spray oils on this new blackstone. Then placing down multiple pieces of beef short ribs we got to see with that heavy Teriyaki marinade as it started bubbling and burning a bit ,but never stuck to the griddle surface. We did managed to overcook these ribs trying to inspect for the non stick surface and burn them a bit, but were still edible at the end.

We also threw down a little simple fried rice with some egg mixed in and with minimal butter, the eggs never stuck to the surface and the rice came out pefrect.


I didn’t think that it was going to handle this sticky sugary teritaki marinade as well as it did It . This griddle is a camping game changer and with the ease of setup, compatibility , east of cleaning and smaller foot print this grill is exceeding our expectations.
