Coverage of a diving safari trip on MY Ocean Lovers in December 2024. All shots were taken with Insta360 Ace Pro and (single) Orchatorch D710v dive light. Music played on a handpan Meridian D Kurd 12.
Safari itinerary included the famous reefs of the Brother's Islands, Daedalus and Elphinstone. The wreck is the MV Salem Express, found near Port Safaga. The passenger ship sank in 1991 after striking a reef, leaving 646 passengers to death.
During the 7-day safari we saw Oceanic White Tip sharks (Longimanus), Silky sharks, Hammerhead sharks, Thresher sharks and Manta rays.
