Go Ampless? - Sonicake IR - No Talk, All Tone

Could you go ampless? We are putting the Sonicake IR through it's paces this week and you can decide whether you would be happy with this tone.


We are talomg a little bit of a different approach this week to the NTAT series. We usually follow a bit of a formula, but this week we have a rather special pedal from Sonicake. The IR is basically a pedal that is in place of your speaker, so in this instance, we are direct in with absolutely no amp. We look at the stock speaker selection from the pedal itself, but it is well worth noting that you can load in your own IRs into the pedal also, which for something so affordable, is such an amazing feature.
