A little geometric comparison between my Fuji and Panasonic road bikes

I started noticing that my Panasonic had a bit smoother ride than my Fuji so I decided to record this hand-waving comparison between the geometry of the two frames to understand why. It turned out that nothing I discussed in the video was really different between the two frames. Upon closer inspection, the top tube of the Panasonic was two inches longer than the top tube on the Fuji (23" vs. 21"), despite the frames each being the same size based on seat tube measurement (21"). This led to the Panasonic looking deceptively smaller than the Fuji by eye due to the smaller head tube gap. This long top tube, making the Panasonic have more touring than sport touring geometry, is the most likely reason for the improved (in my opinion, smoother and less twitchy) ride quality.
