I wanted a bike to customise into a street fighter cafe that had it all. A bike I could tidy up but not redesign. With the best of everything old school cool. The GTR1000 is just that bike. Starting with the twin cam 1000cc same engine used in the Ninja 1000, only difference is larger jets. The 6 speed gearbox, it’s water and oil cooled, quad carbs, adjustable rear shock, it’s shaft driven (no dirty chain rattling and needing adjustment) Twin rotor and twin calliper front, stops on a dime 🤞🏼. All from factory! So i spent appox 6months during covid lockdowns tinkering with this build. It’s a cool bike and pleasure to build and own
