Indoor Wireless IP Camera Systems
CCTV Camera Pros sells wireless security camera systems for indoor installation and they work very well. These systems 1 to 16 wireless IP cameras that have a built-in WIFI antenna and an NVR (network video recorder) to record video from all cameras. The wireless cameras connect to the router over WIFI and the NVR is hard wired wired to the same network router.

Outdoor Wireless Cameras
Most people think that you can simple mount a wireless camera outdoors and reliably connect to a wireless router that is indoors. Security cameras require a reliable and persistent connection in order to record video surveillance footage. This is simply not possible when trying to connect a security camera installed outdoors to a wireless access point that is inside a home or building. CCTV Camera Pros does not recommend outdoor wireless cameras and does not sell them.

Outdoor Wireless Bridge Systems
Long range outdoor point to point and point to multi-point wireless systems are extremely reliable when installed correctly. A wireless bridge allows IP cameras installed on multiple buildings and / or poles to connect to a DVR / NVR at a central building.

Wireless bridges require direct line of sight between the transmitter and receiver antenna. They can transmit one camera or multiple cameras over a single antenna. CCTV Camera Pros uses a long range wireless bridge to connect 3 IP cameras that we installed on a pole to our main building. This applications uses two 4K AI IP cameras and a 1080p resolution LPR IP camera. You can learn about this application here.
