おはようございます！はい！この海辺の夏の歌を皆さんに捧げたいと思います！まだ新曲なんですが、この1週間で猛暑の中10公演を終えた喜びを分かち合うのが待ちきれません。たくさんの観光客の方、フードフェスティバルの参加者の方、そしてファンの皆さんが私たちのライブに来てくれて、応援してくれたことに本当に感謝しています！もちろんサーフミュージックも演奏しましたが、日本の曲もいくつか歌うことにしました。このイベントでは大音量の曲は避けたかったし、ロックやメタル系の曲を歌いすぎるのも良くないと思ったんです。そこで、「Ivory」（カバー）をレパートリーに加えることにしました。この曲はSCANDALというバンドの曲で、私の大好きな女性ギタリストが演奏していました。マカオでは日本の音楽が大きな影響力を持っているにもかかわらず、日本の曲を歌う人はほとんどいないことに気づきました。そこで今回は、世界各国のシェフや飲食店が集まり、自慢の料理を披露するマカオ国際美食都市フェスティバル（フードフェスティバル）ということで、ショーの中で日本の歌を少し歌ってみようと思いました。お客さんもとても喜んでくれて、先ほども言ったように、あの異常な暑さを何とか乗り切ることができました。さて、なぜこんなに暑かったのか？答えは台風が来ているからです。この動画が日曜日の朝に配信される頃には、香港とマカオに上陸する可能性が高いそうです。父によると、台風10号（ウェイファ）は日本時間の午前8時半にはマカオに非常に接近し、正午前には上陸する可能性があるそうです。私は怖くありません。屋外でのパフォーマンスはすべて終わり、家から出る予定はありません。両親が明日の食事を用意してくれたので、家の中で安心です。台風が早く去って、皆さんが無事でありますように。

ところで、この曲を楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。この曲を初めて人前で演奏したのは11歳の時で、バンドのドラマー、ジェニファーと一緒に演奏しました。アコースティックギターを人前で弾いたのも初めてでした。なんて小さかったんでしょう！4年前の私がどれだけ小さかったか、見てください！

Yes! I'd like to dedicate this seaside summer song to you all! I know, this is a brand new song. But I can't wait to share the joy with you for completing 10 shows in the past 1 week under such intense heat. We were grateful many tourists, food festival goers and fans came to support us! Yes, we played surf music as well, but I decided to sing a few Japanese songs. The event wasn't too suitable for songs that are too loud, and it wasn't too appropriate to sing too many rock or metal songs. Therefore, I added this song called "Ivory" to our repertoire, because I realized that extremely people sing Japanese songs in our city despite Japanese music has had big influence in the region. It was the International Cities of Gastronomy Fest Macao (food festival) and chefs and food establishments from all the world are gathered in Macau to showcase their recipes and delicacies, so why not sing some Japanese songs during the event? The audience loved it too, and like what I have mentioned, despite the surreal intense heat, we survived. And now, why was it so hot? Well, the answer is, typhoon is coming and it is very highly likely that it will hit Hong Kong and Macau directly by the time this song is uploaded. My dad says 8:30am Japan time, typhoon Wipha will be closest to Macau, and it might make landfall here at noon. I am not afraid, because all outdoor shows are over, and I am not leaving the house. I will stay indoor as my parents have prepared some food for tomorrow. I hope the typhoon will leave soon and that all people will be safe.

Meanwhile, I hope you will enjoy this song. The first time I played this song publicly was when I was 11, and it was with Jennifer, our drummer of the band. I was also performing with an acoustic guitar publicly for the first time. Boy, I was so tiny! What to take a look how tiny I was 4 years ago?
