One of my dreams came true as I visited the Missouri Botanical Gardens Herbarium.
Afterwards, I had a bit of time to visit the gardens.
In the Spring, I hope to spend more time there, as the majority of my day on this trip was touring the Herbarium, Library and Museum.
My favorite part of the gardens was the “Stumpery,” a garden full of stumps, driftwood and beautiful plants.
My name is Dayna, and I'm a retired firefighter from Clarksville, Arkansas, United States.
Molly's Firehouse started live-streaming on January 19, 2025.
Located at the base of the Ozark Mountains, “Molly’s Firehouse Bird Garden” is in my backyard and is dedicated to my Dalmatian, Molly the Fire Safety Dog.
Several species of backyard birds are at our bird feeders in real-time (see list below). Look for squirrels, possums, skunks, rabbits, armadillos, and other critters!
63 species of birds have visited Molly's Bird Garden. You never know who will stop by!

MORE ABOUT MOLLY THE FIRE SAFETY DOG:
When Molly was 9 weeks old, we started sharing fire safety tips with her.
Throughout her life, she traveled the United States and into Canada, helping keep children safe.
We enjoyed sharing our fire safety program with children from 34 countries via Skype over the course of her lifetime.
Molly was just shy of sharing her fire safety program with children virtually from her 50th US state, but unexpectedly passed away on December 27, 2022, after battling Copper Storage Disease for 4 years.
Molly was such a good friend and loved children. In 2021, I converted an old shed in our yard to look like a firehouse, surrounded by gardens & birds. It is dedicated to her.
